My name is Nuha Hasan and I am running for the position of Park District Commissioner for the Village of Justice.

I am currently employed as a physical therapist at Palos Community Hospital in Palos Heights, and work with patients who have limitations and disabilities, in which I provide my patients with quality health care through prevention, treatment, and management of impairments in order to achieve the highest functional independence and improve their overall quality of life.

My interest in this position stems from my career, as I enjoy an active lifestyle in which I view health and fitness as important aspects of life, especially for our younger generations. That is the reason I am running for public office, because I want to see the positive change in my community that I would have liked to enjoy as a child while growing up in the village of Justice.

An additional benefit to running for this position is my diverse and rich background of being a Muslim Arab American. I feel that this advantage enables me to bring about a fresh perspective in my village along with innovative ideas that will provide the Arab Muslim community with an opportunity for political representation and active participation in the public.
